I have a long-standing interest in the concept of evolution both in the sense of the evolution of our landscape and environment and in a sense of evolution in human terms. My interest is partially informed by formal study of both geology and geography in the past.

In recent years I have also become more aware of time passing in terms my own lifespan.

I am also involved with Matlock Live ! - A celebration of visual and performing art in Matlock.
